Beckham acquired this high-performance supercar back in 2004 during his tenure with Real Madrid. Remarkably, he held onto the vehicle even after relocating to the United States to join LA Galaxy in 2007, bringing it back to the UK where it was registered at his London address in 2008.

This flashy ride came with a hefty price tag of approximately £150,000 when brand new, which, adjusted for inflation, translates to roughly £280,000 in today's money, according to Ed Callow, an expert from Collecting Cars auctioneers.

Despite the perception of football stars as indulgent with their automobiles, this Lamborghini Gallardo boasts only 4,101 miles on the odometer, indicating that it's been treated with care. The vehicle's five-litre V10 engine churns out nearly 500 horsepower and can reach a top speed of 192mph, making it a compelling choice for speed enthusiasts.

At auction, it's expected to fetch around £130,000, as per Mr. Callow's assessment. He mentioned, "It is ready to be enjoyed as a thrilling and highly engaging weekend toy, and would make a superb addition to a wider assembly of supercars. In this auction, I would not be surprised to see the car make as much as £130,000, given its remarkably low mileage and unbeatable celebrity provenance."

Time is of the essence for prospective buyers, as the auction is set to conclude tomorrow evening. Those with an extra £100,000 to spare should act quickly if they're passionate about owning this piece of Beckham's automotive history.

This Lamborghini Gallardo is just one jewel in Beckham's impressive £3 million car collection, featuring luxury models from prestigious brands like Bentley, Porsche, and Audi. Notably, just last month, the football icon attended the launch of Maserati's new UK store, arriving in a bespoke model he had personally designed for the manufacturer.

However, what might surprise some is the humble start to his car collection with a 1994 VW Golf as his very first vehicle. It's a testament to how far Beckham's automotive tastes have come.

In other news, a collection of Reliant Robins reminiscent of the famous Del Boy from the British sitcom "Only Fools and Horses" has gone up for sale at a significantly lower price point than the Lamborghini.
