A lucky online player is the sole winner of the $40-million Lotto Max jackpot from the draw on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). The winning numbers were 3, 9, 12, 17, 23, 31 and 37, with the bonus number 10.
The OLG said this is the second time that the Lotto Max jackpot has been won online this year. In June, a Toronto resident won $65 million with a ticket purchased on PlayOLG.ca. The OLG also said that this is the 11th time that the Lotto Max jackpot has been won in Ontario in 2023, with a total of $537 million in prizes.
The OLG said the winner will be contacted by email to claim their prize and will have the option to remain anonymous if they wish. The winner will also receive a phone call from the OLG Prize Centre to verify their identity and provide further details on how to receive their money.
The next Lotto Max draw, which will take place on Friday, December 1, 2023, will offer an estimated $12 million jackpot. Lotto Max tickets are sold until 10:30 p.m. (ET) on the evening of the draw.
